A quick post to say hello and I think of you often. I have been writing a ton lately about canoeing. Just not for this space. I have a number of longer term projects that I’ve made progress on and I can’t wait to share them with you. But it feels like it could be a long while before these pieces see the light of day.
It makes me wonder how people who write and/or follow other creative pursuits manage to publish prolifically to multiple platforms on a consistent basis. I’ve been looking for Gretchen Rubin’s blog post on this very topic. I stumbled across it a while back about how and when she posts to her blog, LinkedIn, guest posts, manages to get all of her books written. I can’t find it right now, but if you have it please do send it along to me. Or if you have your own tips and tricks that you enjoy sharing, please feel free!
I’ve played with the idea of moving more of my small business and career change writing over to LinkedIn, of writing more on photography on my Zenfolio page, and leaving this space more for outdoor adventure and travel. However I like having one space for you to visit. You get a pretty good sense of what’s on my mind at any given time. Something to ponder further when I have time for the full overhaul.
With upcoming trips to the East Coast, I’ll have airplane time to catch up on blog posts for you. I’ll also have a slew of new photos to share.
Drop me a line and let me know what your creative tips and tricks are. You can join the conversation here on Twitter or here on Facebook.
P.S. If you join the conversation on Twitter, please accept my apologies for a multitude of tweets on some of the city life issues we’ve been dealing with lately. Maybe accept the photo at the top of this post as my peace offering.
