Abbreviated Trip Report: Temagami Canoe Trip

Donald Lake Temagami

My third canoe trip with Wild Women Expeditions for the 2016 season.

Preparations

[su_divider top=”yes”]

After two days in Sudbury following the second Women & Girls’ canoe trip, I spent a couple of hours Tuesday night grocery shopping. I like shopping by myself; it’s cathartic. On Wednesday, it took me 3 hours to organize food into meals by day and another hour to gather and pack the group gear. Kielyn came with her truck at 3pm; we loaded it up and headed out to the Sportsman’s Lodge. Our group of Wild Women was all in by 7pm and we went through the WWE philosophy, the map, and some key pieces of group gear.
